When one team gains control of over half the control points on the map, the enemy team will begin losing tickets at a fixed rate based on how many bases they are behind the opposition.
Tickets are depleted when a team owns more control points than the opposing faction on the map through a mechanic called Ticket Bleed. In order to reduce the enemy's ticket count, players must either capture control points or kill enemies, which will cause ticket bleed or force a player to respawn, respectively. If a team's tickets are reduced to zero or are lower than the enemy's by the end of the round timer, they lose the match. This is essentially the team's available "reinforcements" during the battle, as the number of tickets a team has denotes the number of times a team's players can collectively respawn. In Conquest, both teams start the match with a set number of Respawn/Reinforcement Tickets, usually just referred to as Tickets. The CN team is currently bleeding tickets, due to the US controlling over half the points on the map. The US team owns points A, B, and C, the CN team controls only E, and D is neutral. The status of each control point on the map and amount of tickets both teams currently have is shown above the minimap. Successfully reaching either of the two points of extraction will end the game, while missing the last extraction opportunity resulting in a total loss for your team. These drives can be found in fallen satellite shells scattered across the map, with the main obstacles between the player's team being other opposing teams and enemy AI.įrom there, teams can end the game by successfully managing to head to Extraction Points which only open up on two separate occasions.
The main objective in Hazard Zone is to collect as many Data Drives as possible alongside your team. The brand new mode Hazard Zone sees players compete for Data Drives scattered all across the map in a Battle Royale-esque game mode where they compete against other teams and enemy AI.
BATTLEFIELD 2 PLAYER COUNT SERIES
The game ends when either the Attackers lose all of their Tickets, or if the Defenders fail to prevent the final capture point from being taken.ģ2 Players or 8 Teams (PS5 / XBOX One Series X / PC) Each map is once again split up into different sectors, with the Attacking team being given the objective of capturing each sector one after the other with a limited Ticket Count, and the Defenders being tasked with preventing them from doing so near indefinitely with infinite respawns.

Capture the Full Mapīreakthrough will see players assigned to being either an Attacker or a Defender. Once the ticket counter for a team reaches zero, the game ends with the team with the highest ticket count remaining being the winner.Ī secondary game mode similar to Conquest, Breakthrough will see players adopt traditional Attacker and Defender roles, with each team competing for capture points around the map until all points are captured or the attacking team defeated. Gaining and losing sectors has a direct impact on the amount of Tickets or respawns you or the enemy has – more sectors controlled means more tickets for your team and less for the enemy. The most basic and well-known Game Mode in all Battlefield titles is Conquest, which sees players from two opposing sides fight it out for total domination of the entire map.
